Pitango Bakery + Café
On the waterfront in Fells Point, Pitango Bakery + Café serves artisanal breads and pastries baked in-house daily along with authentic Italian charcuterie, sandwiches, made-to-order salads and coffee. Enjoy fresh croissants and cappuccino overlooking the harbor or share platters of meats, cheeses and roasted vegetables with a basket of bread. Bring your own wine or beer (for small corkage fee).
Pitango Bakery + Café was launched in 2015 with the same focus on honest ingredients and attention to detail as we devote to Pitango Gelato. We were inspired by classic Italian bakeries and sandwich shops, where taking shortcuts is unheard of and there is no substitute for quality and authenticity. Our mission is quite simple: To share the miracle that happens when great bread meets an incredible cheese or Prosciutto di Parma.
The café serves sandwiches and platters made with sliced-to-order Italian meats, including Prosciutto di Parma, Prosciutto Cotto and Mortadella, and a variety of cheeses and roasted vegetables A host of seasonal soups is available during colder months.
Our artisanal breads and pastries are baked fresh daily. You can bring home ciabatta, focaccia, baguettes, Cranberry Walnut and Country loaves—all crafted using centuries-old, traditional methods and pure, wholesome flours and grains. Handmade croissants (plain, almond, chocolate), fresh fruit tarts and assorted cakes and cookies tempt visitors any time of day, along with a full espresso bar.
